Ruchi Agarwal was born n brought up in Mumbai. In 2007 after graduating in Applied Arts from Sophia Polytechnic, she immediately started her career as a photographer and held her first exhibition in the same year. She loves exploring and tries to see things beyond. She explore Fashion photography while assisting Dabboo Ratnani, eminent photographer.

“There’s always been a separation between Fashion and what I call my ‘deeper’ work (fine art). Fashion is where I make my living I’m not knocking it. It’s a pleasure to make a living that way than there’s the deeper pleasure of doing my Fine Art photography. It’s not imp what I consider myself to be, but I contemplate myself to be a Fine Art Photographer, says Ruchi”. Regardless of the circumstances or the subject she is presented with, she calmly and cleverly finds way to show the beauty that exists there. She has an eye for detail and believes that there is beauty in every form.

Photography is an essential part of her life and feels that she lives in a world of images. She believes that the accident of her being a photographer has made her life possible. Her pictures reflect her passion which can be seen more intricately, more deeply than words.Her every shot conveys a style, an emotion, a passion…so natural that it feels like the image comes to life. She has unique ability to take her viewer’s vision to a whole new world.
